+ Will I be able to choose my own therapist?

Yes, you do have the option to select which therapist you would like to work with. The assistant will take your request at intake. Please note that therapist case loads vary and your desired therapist may not be taking on new clients at this time.

+ Do you all accept insurance?

The agency is currently being paneled with a number of insurance companies. Individual therapists may also be paneled individually with insurance providers. Please click here to see a list of insurances by provider

+ Do I HAVE to receive a mental health diagnosis in order to receive services?

Please note that here at Transformative Therapy Services you will not be diagnosed with anything that you do not have. That being said, private pay clients have the option to engage in services without being formally diagnosed. Individuals utilizing insurance benefits will need to have a mental health diagnosis for billing purposes.

+ What are the hours of availability?

Hours of availability vary based on provider. You will be able to discuss availability with your provider at intake. We encourage therapists to offer availability that suits a variety of scheduling needs.

+ Where will sessions be held?

This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We are currently offering face-to-face visits and telehealth visits. Depending on your chosen provider, home visits may be an option as well. Precautions have been put in place so that we can adapt to concerns caused by the impact of the global pandemic. Please click here for additional information about precautions taken.

+ Do you provide Couple’s Counseling Services?

While our agency does offer couples counseling services, availability varies depending on therapist. Please note that insurance does NOT usually cover the costs associated with couples counseling and you should be prepared to pay for this service out of pocket. Verification of insurance benefits will be required before first appointment.

+ What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept cash/credit/debit cards. HSA/HRA accounts may be used for payment as well. We do accept health benefits cards as well. We do not accept checks at this time. All clients will need to have a card stored on file. Cash will only be accepted as a payment for IN PERSON appointments held AT the office. All clients will be required to have a card stored on file. Homevisits/telehealth must pay for services via electronic methods.

+ COVID-19 Policies:

We continue to monitor the situation and have made the following adjustments: offering Telehealth appointments as needed, sanitizing in between each in office appointment, requiring masks to be worn when waiting in the lobby area.
